Artist's Comments

after a year or so at emotional rock bottom i was introduced to a woman who was able to fix my pain and fill the void in my life. we soon fell in love and i was able to completely give her my entire heart in a way that i assumed would never be possible again. eventually i decided that i wanted to express myself in the same way i had done in the midst of depression. i chose the lyrics from 'Firefly', the closing track off the same album. the white light is an allusion to the black heart i the original piece, but also a reflection of the opposing feeling that i was experiencing while creating it.

i have since followed her across the world and never looked back.

"And it smothers me in flames that lick and scorch my face.
As the smoke reaches the sky know I'm burning tonight.
Know I'm burning tonight.
Know I'll burn for you tonight."

Exactly what I said on part1, I cannot believe this hasnt been favd before now. You, amaze me. I know they're just lyrics from a song, but I really admire the way you've found them amidst emotion, and found them that relate to you. And, then the pictures you have drawn with them...it's wonderful, really.

More primordial than any idea, beauty will be manifest as the herald and generator of ideas.
